World History grades entered

Hey guys,

After waiting for guidance from Admin on how to do grades, I am now up to date with entering your scores. I have entered both the Renaissance and Exploration tests as summative assessments. For formative assessments I entered those quizzes that had the most participation.

We will test on Absolutism to Revolution after studying Napoleon and the Age of Revolutions next week, maybe Thursday.

Enjoy your day off on Friday. I will be available on zoom from 1:30-2:00 pm.

World History assignment for Monday, April 13

Today we start a new unit called Absolutism to Revolution. European nations develop and grow as the continent finally comes out of the Dark Ages. Feudalism with its Lords, Knights/Vassals, and Manors is replaced by capitalism and the growth of the merchant, middle class on a personal level;  along with Mercantilism, Imperialism, and powerful Absolute Monarchs on a national level.  We start our study with Absolute Monarchs and the Sun King, Louis XIV (the 14th) of France. Monday 3-16 General instructions/guidance for Government and World History

Good Morning to all my students. As we deal with this virus we are "making history." Never before has our nation had to deal with such issues. Econ students, remember our discussion about how bad it was in the USSR when they ran out of toilet paper... Well, in some places... As the saying came to be in the Great Depression, "how long will it take for the invisible hand to work?" I have no doubt that the laws of self-interest, competition and supply and demand will kick in. Hopefully we won't experience "demand-pull" inflation. (I did notice that steak was really high at Publix Saturday, so I got a good price on rib-eye at Walmart, competition...)  These times make us all have to deal with the realities of life.
