Government Class Assignment for Monday, 3-16 Good morning guys. For Monday I want to do 3 things: Review key concepts on Government Structures (Did not feel like we learned much Friday. I will simply note here on my blog key concepts that we will use throughout Government.) World History assignment for Monday, April 13

Today we start a new unit called Absolutism to Revolution. European nations develop and grow as the continent finally comes out of the Dark Ages. Feudalism with its Lords, Knights/Vassals, and Manors is replaced by capitalism and the growth of the merchant, middle class on a personal level;  along with Mercantilism, Imperialism, and powerful Absolute Monarchs on a national level.  We start our study with Absolute Monarchs and the Sun King, Louis XIV (the 14th) of France. Monday 3-16 General instructions/guidance for Government and World History

Good Morning to all my students. As we deal with this virus we are "making history." Never before has our nation had to deal with such issues. Econ students, remember our discussion about how bad it was in the USSR when they ran out of toilet paper... Well, in some places... As the saying came to be in the Great Depression, "how long will it take for the invisible hand to work?" I have no doubt that the laws of self-interest, competition and supply and demand will kick in. Hopefully we won't experience "demand-pull" inflation. (I did notice that steak was really high at Publix Saturday, so I got a good price on rib-eye at Walmart, competition...)  These times make us all have to deal with the realities of life.
